I previously published a guide of everything you need to know for your first trip to Mallorca. Mallorca → Ibiza is a 45 minute flight or a 4 hour ferry. If you have a week, pair a relaxing time on the beaches in Mallorca with a gooood time in Ibiza, for a perfectly balanced trip.

GENERAL
The island is very small so no matter where you stay, you can pretty much get anywhere within 30-40 minutes by car.
That said, cabs are SO hard to get at times and you’ll be stranded without one so get the number of your cab driver from the airport.
Before booking your stay, look at this google map to get a sense of the different areas. The area surrounding DC-10/Ushuaïa Ibiza is ‘vegas-esque’. The west side of the island is filled with beach clubs and beautiful beaches. I wouldn’t recommend staying on ‘the strip’ where the clubs are, unless your trip is primarily about raving all day and night. In that case, this might not be the best guide for you.
DAY
BEACH CLUBS
** Make a reservation in advance at these restaurants and enjoy the beach attached for the day
El Chiringuito Es Cavallet - Sceney, St. Tropez-esque beach club. Come early to reserve chairs at the beach, then sit for a late lunch.
Jondal - people watching
Nudo - The best food I had on the island! Come for the food and relax at the beach by the restaurant for the day. It’s lovely and a great spot to spend the day away from Ibiza’s party scene. The vibe is family-friendly. Note, it’s quite far from the party areas of the island.
Experimental Beach Club - fun group place
Nudo Ibiza
BEACHES
** List of beaches if you just want to bring a towel and lay in a beautiful spot for the day
Cala Carbo – west of the island
Cala Olivera – ‘party’ side of the island
Punta Galera - rocky beach
SHOPPING
Annie’s Ibiza - extravagant vintage womenswear. They have a store in London too but this is the OG. Fun shop to look through the racks, even if you’re not buying.

NIGHT
SUNSET
Sunset Ashram - drinks at sunset, a Mykonos vibe
El Silencio Ibiza - A restaurant plus +++. The most incredible sunset views! Come for a large group dinner at sunset before going out. You can also make this your day plan. They have a pool and the beach is beautiful.

DINNER
Casa Maca - good dinner spot before a night out. Countryside setting, so note, it’s a bit of a drive.
Restaurant Sa Punta - easy steak dinner and lively energy before a night out.
NIGHTLIFE
Ibiza Spotlight Party Calendar - the official Ibiza Summer Party Calendar, with day-by-day updated listings of all clubs and DJs and tickets for all the major clubs.
Hï Ibiza - The best IMO, but check whose performing to choose where to go.
DC-10 - go for Circoloco (every Monday at DC-10)

WHERE TO STAY
Airbnb - so many solid options on Airbnb. If you’re with a group and looking for a more budget friendly option, Airbnb is the way to go (You won’t spend any time in the room anyway).
Casa Maca Ibiza - rural, countryside hotel
Can Domo Ibiza - a bit of a random area, but a beautiful stay
